My name is Luca (pronouns: he/they) and photography has been a huge part of my life since 2009, when I first invested in a “professional” camera and did my first small fashion and beauty photo shoots at the age of 16.
Life has taken me in a bunch of different directions since then, but working with other people to make a creative vision come to life has been a recurring theme in my life ever since, although I wasn’t always active as a photographer, but rather a part of the creative crew as a hairdresser and later as a hair & makeup artist.
Through my love for music, my passion for photography got rekindled, inspiring me to buy a small point & shoot camera to take photos from the crowd at concerts. Due to the positive feedback I’ve received and a lot of newfound inspiration and confidence, I made the leap and upgraded my old gear to a mirrorless Sony system and started to pursue photography more seriously again.

Most of the photos you can find on this website have been taken on a Sony mirrorless camera, but I have also included a selection of my “from the crowd” shots taken with a Sony point & shoot camera. The image quality of the latter doesn’t hold up to that of a mirrorless camera by far, of course, but I still decided to share them, because I enjoy sharing the different perspectives and ways of capturing moods and moments.
